9/22/01: Backstage Pub- Buffalo, NY with Stemm, Noisegate (now HDP) and Headplow. We weren't sure how this show was going to turn out. the promo was done but the way the night was going we weren't expecting much. As always at the Backstage the sound was less than desireable. Headplow opened and they were good. Next up was Noisegate. They had a good show as well and we've had a great relationship with the guys ever since. Stemm tore things up. By the time we went on it packed nicely seemingly out of nowhere which was cool.
9/29/01: Club Venus- Niagara Falls, NY with Stemm, and Three Below. Cool all ages venue. We once again were hit with the technical difficulty demon half way through the set. Three below and Stemm had awesome sets. Not a bad night.
10/05/01: Showplace Theatre- Buffalo, NY with I honestly can't remember- oops!. This was an awesome show. Which seems to be the case for the Showplace. All the bands "bring it" when it comes to the Showplace. Great turnout as well. Easily 200 or so. We had Keith from Headplow filling in on drums for us, which in a way was a little foreshadowing of things to come. We're starting to fire on all cylinders at this point.
10/6/01: Club Escape- Smethport, PA with Dog Day Sunrise. A small club in PA. Not the best turnout when we went on but Dogday let us go on again in the middle of their set. They are the coolest guys/band you will meet. Not many bands would do that. Usually you'll get a "sorry about the turnout." Not these guys. Top notch all the way. By now things filled in a little bit more. We sold the same amount of merch with 30 people as compared to 220+ the night before! Turned out to be ok after all. Thanks once again to Dogday!
10/19/01: Showplace Theatre- Buffalo, NY Stemm's label showcase with Floorbored (from NC) and Skungk. We were truly blown away that we got the chance to play this show. Huge thank you to Stemm for the opportunity!! There was a lot of buzz about this show just on the fact alone of the label showcase aspect. We had a decent draw but playing a week and a half earlier did affect things slightly. We felt really good up there and nailed our set. Floorbored was cool and Skungk as well. They have a different style without the big man but I think they haven't missed a beat. Stemm tore shit up once again and people really showed their support for all the bands especially Stemm. It was their night. Hopefully who ever the label guys were took a long hard look and realize that there is talent in Buffalo!!
